Holy cross Convent Mananthavady is located In Thonichal, Mananthavady Diocese in Wayanad district of Kerala. Most of the people earn their livelihood by farming. They are very hard working. The people of all faiths live together in peace and harmony. The natives are tribals such as Paniyas,Kurumbas and Kurichiyas. Most of the people are migrants.
Convent Services
The sisters actively engage in outreach programs, reaching out to the marginalized and underprivileged. They organize and manage welfare activities, empowering communities through compassion and care.
Committed to nurturing minds, the sisters manage schools and educational programs for holistic development.
Dedicated to spiritual guidance, the sisters support faith formation and personal growth. They lead prayer services, retreats, and provide emotional and moral support to those in need.

We support physically, spiritually, economically poor and bedridden patients of our locality and ease the burden of patients and their families. We have good rapport with Patients and their families. We visit the patients in their homes and check BP, sugar and do the needed help in whatever way we can. We have 70 patients in 21 wards of our parish. We also have a free check up of BP and sugar of our parishioners once a month. We began this mission in 2017.
